Pooja's Engagement Story English Story
Pooja went home and told her mother, Rani, about Awasthi’s proposal. Rani gave deep advices about love, relationships, and acceptance. After thinking for some time, Pooja decided to say yes. When she told her mother, Rani smiled and said, “If you are happy, Then i am happy.” Later, Pooja met Awasthi and agreed to marry him, but she had one condition. “Will you accept me as a bald wife, a bald daughter-in-law, and a bald woman in your house?” she asked.
Awasthi smiled and gently touched her head, feeling her stubble. “I love your bald head, Pooja,” he said. “It shows your strength and courage. I’ll always accept you as you are.” He also spoke about women’s courage, saying that it takes real strength to shave one’s head in a society that admires long hair. Pooja felt understood and respected. Few months later their engagement ceremony was arranged grand and joyful. Pooja had a short boy cut, and she looked confident and happy.
Awasthi stood beside her, holding her hand and smiling proudly. The event was full of music, dance, and laughter. Everyone around them could see their happiness. Awasthi promised to support Pooja’s love for a couple dance on stage which everyone praised their love. Pooja felt lucky to have found someone who accepted her completely. They soon started planning their future together — their wedding, their life, and their dreams. The wedding preparations were in full swing.

Pooja was surprised but agreed. He told her it was for a special dinner. When Pooja arrived, Awasthi took her to his friend’s barber shop. Pooja’s eyes widened in surprise when she saw the barber’s tools and chair. Awasthi smiled, knowing that she already understood what was about to happen.
