Pooja's Hair growth Journey English story
Pooja's smooth bald head drew lots of attention. At school, her friends stared and asked questions. At home, her parents were supportive, but her grandmother missed her long locks. Pooja felt self-conscious but was determined to own her new look. As days passed, Pooja's hair started growing back—soft, stubbly hair. She'd touch her head, feeling the texture change. Her friends teased her, calling her "Baldy". Pooja would laughed it off. Pooja attended Bharatanatyam classes twice a week.
Initially, Pooja felt nervous about her bald head, but her teacher and friends encouraged her. She soon realized that her dance movements were more fluid without long hair. "Its easy to dance with bald head" Pooja said to herself. At tuition, her classmates would stare and giggle. One also asked, "Why did you shave your head?" Pooja confidently replied, "I wanted to and I loved it". they were clearly impressed by her confidence. As her hair grew, from smooth bald head into stubbles, fuzz strand and became longer.
She would click selfies and watch her hair growth progress. Her parents were happy to see her hair growing back. After 50 days, Pooja's hair was long enough for a boy cut length. She was excited to try a new style. Her mother styled her hair, and Pooja loved the way she looked. "I love this style mother" she was excited. With her new style, Pooja felt more confident. She started participating more in school, answering questions, and even made new friends. Her teachers praised her for her confidence and bravery.
As Pooja got used to her boy cut style, she started feeling an urge to shave her head again. She’d touch her hair, thinking, "Maybe one more shave won’t be bad." One day, while scrolling on her phone, Pooja caught a glimpse of her old bald image. She smiled to herself. A sense of freedom and excitement washed over her as she recalled the evening when she had shaved her head for the first time. "I will surely go bald once again if I get the chance," she said to herself, smiling.
